MURC-WUURC (Multinational Underwater Robotics Competition - World University Underwater Robot Competition) is a joint Russian-Chinese competition in underwater robotics.
In 2022, the competition were held in two cities: Vladivostok and Harbin.
In 2023, the competition was held in Harbin.
In 2024, Vladivostok was chosen as the venue for the competition.
The main organizers on the Chinese side are the Harbin Engineering University and the Association of Shipbuilding Engineering, on the Russian side - the Center for Robotics Development, Maritime State University namet after adm. G.I. Nevelskoy and FEFU with the support of the NTI Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
The 2024 competitions include 4 offline classes:
- AUV junior (15-17 years)
- AUV students
- ROV junior (11-15 years)
- ROV students
and 2 online categories:
- ROV/AUV Creative Concept
- AUV programming in the simulator.
Venue: Maritime State University namet after adm. G.I. Nevelskoy and FEFU.
